A monthly makers circle

Gather : Connect : Make

Monthly meet-ups where we support you to focus on making something out of natural materials with your own hands, and we always have the fire on. These sessions run through the winter months and all resources and materials are provided, along with a cup of tea.

The intention is to provide a welcoming sheltered outdoor space, close to nature, to allow you to reconnect with your creativity and your local community, beside the generative warmth of a communal fire. 

These sessions are in partnership with We Are Wonder.

First Saturday of the month
Time: 1pm - 4pm
16+ for people aged sixteen and over
Hot drinks and all materials provided

Sessions are free to attend thanks to National Lottery Funding, but please email us to tell us you’re coming as spaces are limited.

What’s on:

5th September - WEAVE/CORDAGE
Learn how to turn raffia into a coiled basket with simple stitching. With Gina.

3rd October - WEAVE/CORN
Learning how to weave the Corazon de Trigo, the Arabic Cage while we acknowledge the global seasonal roots of corn crafts. With Gina.

7th November - WEAVE/WILLOW
Bending and weaving basket willow to make a functional and decorative tension platter. Great for stopping hot things burning your work surfaces. With Joanne.
