What we offer
We offer a range of events and workshops at Glasgow Forest School - from full-day forest school holiday sessions for young adventurers to hands-on craft workshops for adults and professional training for educators.
There's something for everyone who wants to deepen their relationship with nature in Glasgow's urban green spaces.
-
Our adult workshops offer hands-on making with natural materials, from willow weaving and carving to seasonal wreaths and fire striker making.
We also run The Hearth, a free monthly makers' circle where adults can gather around the fire to create, connect, and slow down.
-
Our full-day forest school sessions run during school holidays for children aged 5–11, offering woodland adventure filled with den building, tree swings, hammocks, campfire cooking, and games.
-
Our Forest and Outdoor Learning Award (FOLA) courses equip teachers and educators with the skills to lead outdoor learning sessions confidently and safely, covering everything from risk assessment and campfire management to nature connection practices.
You can find out more about our teacher training here.
-
We partner with schools across Glasgow to deliver regular forest school sessions in local parks, led by fully qualified Level 8 forest school leaders. Sessions support physical health, emotional regulation, and stronger bonds with the natural world.
