Get the kids out from behind their screens in the April holidays
Our forest school sessions in the Pril holidays are full of play and learning about nature for 5 - 11 year olds in Glasgow's Pollok country Park during April school holidays.
Forest School is great way to get the kids out in the fresh air during their holidays and these sessions are designed for children to learn through play and fun which builds their confidence. Some of the things we do include:
...exploring
...woodland based games
...building tree swings
...making climbing webs
...putting up hammocks and dens
...using hand tools for simple craft activities with wood
...making toys or play objects out of natural materials
...opportunities to learn about wildlife plants and nature
...learn about fire
...whittling sticks
...cook a snack on the fire
...singing
...stories
...the list goes on!
Based at Pollok Country Park these sessions are six and a half hours of woodland play led by forest school leaders at a dedicated forest school site (WOKers you haven't been to this camp!) for three days during the April holidays.
Siblings are very welcome to come together and you might consider booking friends in together too - forest school is a brilliant way for children to strengthen their relationships.
