2 hour Forest School Sessions 

Pollok Country Park

For 15 children

Weekly or fortnightly on Wednesdays Meeting Point Pollok House 

Activities include:

• Den building

• Tree swings

• Woodland loose parts play

• Stick and wool crafts

• Nature connection and mindfulness

• Games, games, and more games

• Nature identification through folklore

Willow maintenance and making workshop

2 hour session for up to 3 groups of 12 children at your willow den.

We will learn:

• What is willow? Where does it grow? Why would we want it?

• How do we use it?

• How can we look after willow?

• Hands on pruning in smaller groups. Have a go at making winter wreath bases for decorating and taking home/inside.

• Alternatively make a big wreath to decorate the classroom. Nice to have year round and to replace and forage for natural decorations year round.

Get your groups into crafting using natural materials and learn for yourselves the meditative benefits of keeping your hands busy.
